i like #1 but must be in the rare.
i think it is much cleaner than #2 contrary to what others have said.
i feel like #2 is just trying to do too much. sticking that number 8 in the middle. my eyes don’t know where to look.

#2 would work better if the “O” on the 8 was larger and aligned with the top of the “M” and the bottom part of the 8 (for the “g”) fit with the baseline, etc. The g should also be continious (not broken up). I would connect the M and I so that there is continuity (and move the “V” in tighter to the “I” so they touch.. I also don’t think the logo symbol needs to butt right into the logo type. Thats my 2¢

Both are hard to read and confusing to the eye. If you’re set on this concept, then my vote is for #2 if you connect the bottom of the ‘g’.

Neither really work for me to be honest. The concensus seems to be number 1 is a no go and i feel number 2 is trying to hard to focus on the “eight” “8″ and there is not enough color changes or size difference to make it easy on the eye.There needs to be some heirarchy to the grid and type treatment. I think the biggest point, the word “Marketing” which is what you do gets completely lost…i am not even sure if the any of the above people even spotted that it was there at all. I would honestly say back to the drawing board and try to implement some of the green in the type treatment to help break up whatever line treatment you end up with. Even multiple shades of grey could work.

I like #2 better. I’d like to see the ‘I’ in motive line up over the ‘T’ in eight like the ‘M’ and ‘I’ do. Glad you get to keep the ‘M’ logo!

I like #2 better

I am going to have to agree with Caleb. #1 gets be a little dizzy.

However with #2, the IV looks like a 4 in roman numerals because of the emphasis on them.

But the 8 is very clever. (it took me a while – maybe that says something about me)

#2. I think the weights of the letterforms need to be made more consistent though. That “h” looks a bit light to me.

Out of the two options, I like #1 better. But I think the typeface makes the design struggle for dominance. It’s really the “g” that bothers me the most. Just my two cents.
