I have struggled with the same thing myself. On of my favorite quotes about writing is:

There’s a secret that real writers know that wannabe writers don’t, and the secret is this: It’s not the writing part that’s hard. What’s hard is sitting down to write. ~Steven Pressfield

His book, The War of Art, is one of the most important books I’ve ever read about the resistance we face as creatives. Also, Bird by Bird (Anne Lamott) Both invaluable.
Anne talks about perfectionism and what she calls, “Shitty first drafts.” It’s brilliant. Check them out:)
