		<description>Great post, Kyle.  I&#039;ve heard several people (including supporters of the president&#039;s policies) say that the honorable thing to do is to decline it, though I doubt that&#039;s crossed any of the minds in the White House.  I personally feel it cheapens the value of the Nobel prize and calls their judgment and motives into serious question.  Even worse, I fear it feeds the strange obsession of so many in the word that believe if you simply insist something is true (potential) without *ever* delivering on it (and in many cases, delivering the very opposite of what you promise), that your mere insistence counts as more true than the reality of what has transpired. </description>
