You’ve been thinking about it too much.
You’ve been talking about it too much.
You’ve been dreaming about it too long.
You’ve been hoping that someone will take notice for too long.
You’ve been wishing that things were different far too long.
You’ve been lusting after too many things that aren’t yours.
You’ve been coveting other people’s gifts too long.
You’ve been wanting success too long.
You’ve been striving too hard.
You’ve been lazy too long.
You’ve been ____________ too ______________.
If you really want to see something change, stop thinking about the end game and start thinking about the next step.
Proverbs 16:9 says,
“The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”
Stepping forward requires momentum, which means you have to be actively moving forward. Don’t worry about the full plan. Focus on the single next action, and do it.
Success doesn’t happen in the dreaming stage. It happens when you move forward.
It’s time to stop allowing your lack of clarity to paralyze your next move. Today, find one single action point, do it and repeat.
One last thing: Forget the naysayers. Regardless of whether you achieve your end-in-mind goal, real success comes in what happens during the process, not just after it.
It’s Monday. What’s one thing you’re going to do today?
